We pride ourselves on having a “hometown” feel where students and families come first!

Things to do in and around Alpine

Alpine is known for its natural beauty and abundance of outdoor activities. The town is surrounded by open space, offering residents easy access to hiking trails and biking paths. El Capitan Lake, located just a few miles from Alpine, is a popular spot for boating and fishing. Nearby Cleveland National Forest, as well as the mountain communities of Lake Cuyamaca, Mount Laguna and historic Julian, all offer amazing opportunities to explore nature.

Alpine also has its own parks and recreational facilities. Wright's Field Preserve is well known by locals as a great place to hike, bike and birdwatch and, best of all, it is horse and dog friendly!  Viejas Mountain Trail is another local favorite, offering panoramic views to the Pacific Ocean.
